Aviation Core Matrix LLC was founded in April of 2005 and produces Aviation Skills Matrix.
Our initial focus was placed on capturing technical capabilities, assisting in employment, and aiding in FAA compliance; our focus has grown to include such things as Talent and Safety Management Systems.
Aviation Skills Matrix was conceptualized by an array of aviation professionals. Our backgrounds as technicians, inspectors, managers, pilots, and trainers in air transport, military and general aviation was our inspiration for creating a program that has so much to offer technicians and organizations alike.
Utilizing the latest in development tools our talented developers work closely with our aviation professionals to ensure that the program meets, responds, and speaks to the needs of the industry.

Since we have experienced the industry from such a broad perspective, it is important to us that this program, provide benefits to all involved. So, it has been carefully crafted to include important tools for both management and technicians.
The STAReport® (Skills Training Assessment Report) is the foundation for both technician and management tools. Comprehensive technician profiles are gathered and presented in a format that produces a concise representation of an individual’s capabilities. Collectively, these reports provide valuable insight to overall workforce capabilities.
What do we mean by capabilities? - Technician training, experience, certifications, skills, and proficiency levels. Since a technician’s capabilities are constantly growing and changing it is important that the information be easily accessed and updated. ASM accomplishes this through a web-based platform.
With a growing gap between qualified technical talent and demand, it becomes increasingly important to utilize available talent. An important aspect of ASM’s system is the ability to perform advanced custom queries, locate latent talent, and devise Individual Training Plans to develop and apply the talent at hand.
For those who are actively seeking employment, the STAReport® provides a concise format for demonstrating their value. Employers may query our data base of available technicians in much the same way that they use the program internally. The format is the same; making it the perfect tool for precisely filling gaps in workforce capabilities.
In our efforts to always look to the future, we have adapted ASM to incorporate features accommodating upcoming FAA requirements for Safety Management Systems.
